WHO IS CARSIE BARNES IV?
Carsie E. Barnes IV (born July 20, 1995) is a creative leader, artist, worship director, musician, speaker, and youth strategist based in Chicago, Illinois. Passionate about developing the next generation, he is the founder and visionary of Favored Friday ABC now know as Favored Friday CHI-, a thriving youth and young adult movement that equips individuals ages 15–35 through worship, leadership, creativity, and authentic community.
Founded in 2019, Favored Friday CHI envisions a generation of youth and young adults empowered to lead with faith, creativity, and boldness, transforming communities through praise , worship, and the arts. The movement includes a choir, praise and worship collective, ministry and outreach, dance ministry (Vessels of Favor), leadership team, band, media and marketing team, hospitality team, and security team—all committed to cultivating excellence, purpose, and community.
In addition to leading FFCHI, Barnes serves as the Worship & Arts Director at House of Hope ATL, where he is passionate about building healthy ministry cultures, developing leaders, and strengthening worship teams. As a gifted musician, song writer, vocal director, arranger, and recording artist, he is recognized for his innovative musical excellence, dynamic leadership, and ability to mentor both emerging and seasoned creatives. Through ministry, consulting, speaking engagements, and digital platforms, he equips churches and leaders to cultivate thriving worship ministries and impactful next-generation cultures.
Above every accomplishment, Barnes considers his greatest calling to be his role as a husband and father. He believes that his most meaningful legacy will not simply be the stages he stands on, but the family he leads, the leaders he develops, and the lives he helps transform through faith, worship, and service.
